Just For Kids
 At Spur Cross Stable, we love to see the joy on kids faces when they interact with animals.  That is why we offer trail rides for families, we believe it is important for children to have positive experiences with horses.  Our guides make sure that the kids have a rewarding experience also, and are not afraid to lead a smaller, or worried beginner.  We do have an age limit to go out on the trails, and riding double is never safe, so it is not allowed.  For the too young to trail ride, we offer 'pony rides' on a real horse, led by a guide on foot, and a parent walking alongside.  We also have a variety of small animals for the whole family to enjoy, pygmy goats, potbelly pigs, and burros.  Horsemanship lessons are also offered independantly of Spur Cross Stable.
