While we love being on horseback, we also have a passion for showing you the desert on foot! There is nothing quite like a hike in the beautiful Arizona desert, and Cave Creek and the Tonto National Forest are home to some of the most breathtaking and majestic hiking trails in the state. To take advantage of these hikes and share the tranquil beauty of a desert sunset with you Spur Cross Stables is proud to offer a series of Sunset Hikes for you to choose from. Your options for private or group hikes include:

Two hour hike concluding at Sunset, 4:00-6:00 pm daily
One and a half hour hike concluding at Sunset, 4:30-6:00 daily
One hour hike concluding at Sunset, 5:00-6:00 daily

What a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the Arizona outdoors with friends and family, and to do so while being guided by an experienced hiking guide with extensive knowledge of the many points of interest in the Tonto National Forest and its scenic desert terrain! You don’t have to be an avid hiker at all to enjoy the scenic trails we’ll take you on, not even close. Choose the hike that works best for you and conclude an inspiring trail hike in the shadow of a classic Arizona sunset.
